Okay- this one is built a lot like the Amy Butler Sanibel bag - the dimensions are a little different because i just tried to use as much of the black floral fabric as possible. i have one square piece left.

it turned out kind of diaper-baggy, but that works out great for the recipient, who has two small children. AND, as luck would have it, she didn't have a bag for all the kids' stuff (kids always need stuff). So now they've got one.

it's 12 inches tall and about 16 inches wide.

and i used one strip of the floral fabric to top the inside pocket. i think that turned out pretty cool.

i don't remember the name of the stiffener stuff i used. they didn't have any fusible fleece at walmart when i went, and they had this - it's kind of like thick felt, and i bought it because i thought it was fusible, but it was not, and then my sewing machine fought with it a little bit on the corners where there was more than one layer of the inside stuff. i do like how it makes the bag stand, so i will probably use it again, i'll just have to snip the seams or something.

Gorgeous!  Love the fabric.  It's pretty much what I'd like to make for myself when I can get around to another purse!

Ask a Gentern who they prefer, ten out of nine will say "The Pavi!" <3 Oghr!

that is very cute!
It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.

Diaper-baggy or not, I'd love to carry one of these!
