what on earth is myspace angle technology??

To all those who said my cabinets weren't ugly...

Thanks to myspace angle technology I was able to cleverly hide the large gaps between cupboard units, the crooked doors that don't shut all the way, and the spot where the top of the cabinet is actually 1/2" away from the wall. Hidden too are the horrid stains and caulking gone wild job around the kitchen sink. Seriously bad caulking job - it's thick and nubby and all over the counter and thank goodness it's clear because we can't seem to scrape it off. The right lighting hides the gross stains along the baseboard... baseboard which is 8 inches tall at one end of the kitchen and 3 inches at the opposite. Why? because the house was built in 1920, and during a remodel by a previous owner, rather than level the floor, they suspended the counter from the wall so that it was level, and cut angled baseboard to fit. =| So our work is cut out for us, but I do love this house.

I do like that they are white though!

And yeah - the towels do look great in there!

Sounds like my friends who replaced their counter and basically discovered the whole kitchen was built crooked in the process.  Grin

I love how your kitchen is furnished, though, and I do agree that the towels go great.

I love instant gratification almost as much as I love parentheses!

85%confusion, I love the shelf above your microwave holding all your cookbooks! Makes me wish I wasn't renting an apartment so I could have a cute kitchen like yours! Smiley The towels fit perfectly in your home!

Okay--so I'm GUSHING with enthusiasm since I've received my items from Jessarama.
It's hilarious because I'm all by myself at my apartment and have no one to physically show the goodies to!

Reasons why I am IN LOVE with these towels.
1. The tomatoes are feminist. (Woman symbol in her hand, and check out the peace sign and boots she's wearing!!)
2. Jessarama DESIGNED these JUST FOR MEEE!
3. The rick-rack borders are just awesome!
4. The fact that the lettuce and tomatoes are gabbing on the phone!

And just wait--it's not over yet.

Meet Tilly!

She has sparkly red lips, high heels, an umbrella and a purse.
But not just ANY purse... a purse filled with her OWN MINI EMBROIDERY, John Milton's Paradise Lost (I'm an English teacher) and guess what else? A MINI TAMPON!!!

Jessarama, thanks for making my first swap experience SO WONDERFUL! How can any other swap partners follow this? YOU ROCK!

Also, thank you AndreaDeniell for being such a cool partner (that I sent to.) To anyone who didn't know, we were all in a 3-way swap.

Trampycouture - what a great package! Amazing detail! Very cool that they were designed especially for you!

I've never been lost, but I will admit to being confused for several weeks.

Ha!!  Those towels are awesome and the little clay tomato is hilarious!!  I never knew tomatoes needed tampons...

Currently taking a hiatus from swapping.  Sad
