I've seen these fine art kits for years and have wanted so much to do one but I know the time involved and I've always put it off. This gives me second thoughts. It would be almost like contributing to the arts to have a piece this beautifully evocative of the original. To me, cross stitch lends itself well to the recreation of impressionist pieces because of the color blending.

This is awe inspiring. The fineness of the stitiching is particularly amazing.

holy crap, all those stitches!!! Shocked  Thank you for posting close-ups of your amazing work!  I'm completely in awe!

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection

Wow, that's awesome!  So much better than a poster or print!

Thankyou, I have to agree. It is definitely better than poster or print, because neither of those would get the reaction that my piece gets when my husband and I have friends over and he proudly brags to them that it is not a print, but instead, cross stitch. Everyone who steps over our doorstep gets the tour of 'Things That Lindsey Made'.   Cheesy

I would totally frame something like that too. Way too nice to be home decor, its art!
