So I made a sort-of Lelah since I loved the pattern but my boobs don't handle strapless well  Smiley I used the pattern for the Lotus Blossum tank (from the summer issue of IK) for the top and did the bottom with the Lelah lace.  Here it is:

Great Lelah top Brookles! I love the idea for using the IK pattern as an alternative fit.

That is beautiful, brookles! I loved the Lotus Blosson tank; it really reminded me of Lelah. Your combination of the two is awesome!

Oh brookles that looks great. I might steal your idea. I liked the pattern in IK, but wanted to change something about it. I wasn't sure what. I think I like the lelah lace better.

hi, i haven;t really got down to doing this till now.. i know i'm a lil slow..hehe
but hope you gals can help me with this question..

i did mine in 4mms coz i like the tighter effect and also more sts as i am bigger in size.. one little question was that what is the difference between her pattern and our modified ones, that it requires a different bind off? thanks. i hope u all understand my question...

Here is my Lelah, I know I'm a little slow to jump in on this.

I modded the straps from page 14 and a random blog entry from someone else who knit it...and then I slip-stitched all around the top. This is unblocked, since I finished it last-minute before leaving Los Angeles where I was visiting my family--it was a gift for my aunt.

Also, it's my first real knitted garment--everything else has been scarves or blankets so far. I feel good about it!!

It's made in Sugar'nCream cotton, colorway denim.

i love your modification...my boobs are too small to support strapless, so that's a tempting option!  Smiley
