I have this insane idea Smiley It could be done in other areas too I guess but really I'm in this area so it's the one I'm focusing on Wink

A white elephant style swap where those that sign up all get together on a set date to do an in person white elephant style swap.  could be paired up with a pot luck style lunch/dinner.  We would all craft one large item, bring it wrapped and bring a finger food type thing for everyone to do a meet and greet along with the swap. I think given it'd be an in person type thing the numbers would have to be limited to the 20 that are allowed under one organizer.

Why this type of swap?  would be really cool to meet some of the other craftsters in the puget sound area, and I know from the different swaps I've participated in/considered participating in/organized that there are a number of people in this general area (seattle, tacoma, yelm, Olympia/lacey) that participate in swaps

so would anyone be up for trying a swap with a twist such as this?

GothChics, I've got a club called TLC (Tacoma Ladies' Club) and we get together once a month to do something fun that's local.  I could definitely convince some of those women to join in, if you don't mind a bunch of new girls!

I love planning parties - come to me if you need any ideas!
