I just got done reading the entire thread! Hahha! I should be asleep right now (it is almost 4am! Shocked ), but I couldn't tear myself away from the posts! It was more suspenseful than most horror movies (this IS a real-live horror-movie to any craftster!).

I wasn't even involved and I was getting pissed off on your behalf! I was gritting my teeth and practically snarling at the computer. I haven't ever had to deal with Internet fraud, so I don't know how awful it is personally, but from your posts, it sounds like absolute hell. The internet is supposed to be our best friend (well, it's MY best friend, at least), and I hate it when it screws us over.

I am really glad you got your money back! I was going to be furious if you didn't. The whole time I was reading, I was like: "No! Don't give up! Get your $55 back! Fight, fight!".

I am still ticked off about the Feedback issues, though.

"I really prefer burning a whole house down rather than trying to root out a few rats. It's extreme, but y'know, I'm not a very nice person."

Good God I can't believe I just read 42 pages of this! it was like a movie! I even ate snacks while reading this Smiley. Sapphire, I'm SO glad you got your money back in the end. I want to add in that Etsy very much SHOULD be held up to some sort of quality control. No one should have to pay for something that they think is sub-par quality (and most everyone thinks that, too)..... I can understand not wanting to be rude or hurt someone's feelings... but, when it's for things that are for sale I think the rules change. Would you buy something like that from Target? JC Penny? Coach? I certainly would not. I swap on swap-bot and even they have a sort of quality control with a rating system.

I just spent the entire day reading this and wow! Two and a half years later and people are still signing in to see what is going on.

So tell us, is this Etsy seller still up? Do they still have a working shop?

I just read the entire thing as well. Hours of my life are now gone, but I'm a bit wiser as a result. I'll definatly be more careful when shopping on Etsy. Thanks guys, and I'm SO happy to see you got your money back!
