I started these a while ago but I lost my crafty mojo temporarily. Luckily it came back and I finished up this weekend!  Cheesy

The first one is a donation. A very dear friend works for a domestic violence/rape crisis line, and they are having a silent auction, so I made this for the auction. I wanted to do something fun and pretty but also inspired by women's empowerment. My friend is a mighty force for good in the world and I wanted to donate something that would reflect how I feel about her work and that of the other crisis line workers, I think they are amazing.
Here's what a came up with, with a shout out to Aretha Franklin!

I wanted it to say "find out what it means to me" along the bottom, but that's a lot of text! So I went with the heart that says "T.C.B." instead (taking care of business)

The next one is also for a friend, she wanted a tattoo theme, and this slip made me think of a punk rock saloon girl, so here's what I did:

Flouncy!

Thanks for checking me out!  Smiley

Those are gorgeous!  I really like the black one!  Did you add all the trim or did you buy them that way?

They both came with the trim, there was no sewing, just embroidery! I was pretty excited to find the black one, it's really unusual and cool. I love the flouncy bottom.

Where did you find them?  I was shopping the 50% off all clothing at my local Salvation Army store this weekend, and I didn't find anything that cool.   Undecided

I hope they'll bring in a lot of money for the crisis line.  I'm sure Re-re would approve.  Smiley
