Loves2, Heehee, I'm fine.  Smiley  It's interesting how different these kids are from the ones at her camp.  The kids are really relaxed and nice at her school.  We were only there for 1 hour yesterday and I could already see that Lana was at home and busy making friends.

The "Ugly Ducking" batts sound fun!

They really turn into beautiful swans when spun - it always amazes me.

*making a mental note to check out your shop for the appearance of said "Ugly Duckling" batts* Cheesy

I was soooo anxious when my kids first went to school many years ago NOW I'm just anxious for them to go already Wink  Love them all dearly but I sure look forward to having my days back!  Example of my day so far:  get 13 year old princess who is currently not speaking to anyone (?? EVERY comment is met with the rolling of the eyes, heavy sighs and stomping-very entertaining!) ready for school while listening to a 1980's K-Tel record that my 16 year old insists I HAVE TO HEAR RIGHT NOW.  and discuss.  some mornings there isn't enough coffee in the world.........(or apparently Tony Orlando, Elton John and god knows who else)

Shop the Swap official bulletin
We've been discussing the cap on participants and realize that after 75 people we would need another organizer.  So the maximum participants will be 75 people and the first post will be changed to reflect this.

We've been having to do some point checking and I would like to ask that EVERYONE take a look at the first post about how to list your claims and point totals at the bottom of your shop.  The posted format makes it so much easier for me to figure out what you think you have (which hopefully matches to what WE think you have)  Please make sure that you are listing all claims as you make/receive them, have no claims in there from another round/or were withdrawn AND most importantly you are changing your point totals corrrectly.

The outstanding claims list for round 17 will be posted at the front of this thread by the end of the week (I'll wait for a few more to come in first)  We had 241 claims  last month!!  There are still a few outstanding for earlier rounds so please take a look through those as well Smiley

I managed to get my shop up - it took me a few tries before I got it right, that is for sure! Much admiration for all your well-organized shops.

By the way, is anyone into Betty Boop? I was thinking of doing a couple of journals using BB fabric.

My mother loves BB!  I would claim it as a present for her.  The holidays are right around the corner, not to mention her b-day in Nov.  That would just be an addition to a larger present.

Thanks for letting me know reese52. I am into holiday prep-mode this year, for sure - how else can you find such cool original stuff?

Also, I looked at my shop and noticed that I need to put more details about the journals - they are completely different sizes, but I have to get home to measure them first...which won't be for several hours.

My mom loves BB too, weird.  (But I don't need anything else for her Dec. b-day/Christmas, she always gets spoiled by me and I have more than enough already, haha)

I just added some new burp cloths (sets of 2) to my shop and I am going to check when my etsy listings expire and will probably add a few more things from there, if they are ending soon (if I remember correctly there should be several things ending sometime at the beginning of this month).  And there are some supplies I want to go through and list, I just need to get pictures.

Anybody interested in baby/toddler skirts/shorts?
I have a bunch of already made, I have from sizes NB-4T... NB-6mos have matching onesies, and I can make matching onesies/tshirts to go with the bigger ones if you want, I already have the tshirts/onesies on hand...

Selkie - a girl after my own heart  (Single malt??)

Is there any other kind of scotch??? (insert sarcasm) Please do not insult me!!! (end of sarcasm!)

I've always been a "neat scotch" drinker, but I saw a program on Scotland and the Head of a Scotch company that makes Scotch says you should add the barest splash of water to improve the flavor - haven't had an opportunity to try that one out just yet.

My DS started 7th grade today - he was upset about how short the summer was. I didn't have the heart to tell him that this years summer vacation was about 3 months too long.
