This is a skirt I made out of old jeans legs. The waistband is a simple drawstring. I didn't use a pattern. There aren't any pictures of the back, but it looks essentially the same as the front. I love this skirt because it is a combination of my two favorite wardrobe elements: good ol' jeans and pretty skirts. It's a lot of fun to twirl in. What do you think?

I've always tended to think of drawstring closures being for lightweight skirts or pants, but I like the look of this skirt--a bit different from the usual jean recon.
