Oh man, this would be the ultimate endurance craft project right here!  I don't know though if I could handle the bigger numbers, 12 of something, 11 of something, etc.  And sadly, shipping gets really expensive these days . . . but its tempting to get so many cool things to open in return!

does a pair of slippers count as one item, or two?

IMO, the larger # days are the easiest because, like someone said above they can be super small less time intensive things, like marble magnets, gift tags, bookmarks, or they could be store bought items also, or for day 12 for example they could be 1 dozen awesomely baked goodies etc....

and as for the pair of slippers, I don't knit so I can't say for sure how long it would take for them to be made BUT you could count them as 2 items if the time it took to make them exceeded 6 hours or so. Smiley

I'm not sure... but if I had to guess I would say one because you can't use it unless you have both.  ?

But I could be wrong!  Anyone know for sure? Smiley

I would say to use your judgement...if it is a pair of simple slippers that you sewed up in an hour or so, count it as one item.  If they are a pair of super complicated slippers that took 6 hours to complete, then maybe two.
I think the main point is to make 12 packages that you would be very happy to open yourself.

right?

I would probably count a pair of slippers as one item because the ones I make a really simple, they don't take too long but I find the pattern of decrease, crochet across, repeat a bit tedious.  My mind is already starting to churn with ideas tho, stitch markers, earrings, atcs and I could make cookies or something, too Smiley

Do supplies count, too?  Like, 1 skein of yarn, or packages of stickers?  I assume so because it says a few items can be purchased, but its good to check.

Now if only I could make cute little clay doo-dads like kish  . . . .

75% of the items are to be handcrafted and the other 25% can be store bought/commercial items

SO, 59 items should be handcrafted and 18 can be store bought. Tongue
