Wow. That's is absublutely gorgeous. Gotta admire the amount of time it took to string the beads. I thought the shiny bits were just sparkly yarn until I saw the last picture.

Actually, the beads were not strung on before knitting.  I knit them in as I went along by taking the loop off of the knitting needle then using a teeny tiny crochet hook to pull the loop through the bead and then to place it back onto the needle. 

But you're right, it took forever to add the beads to the project.  Would have gone a heck of a lot faster without them.  But oh boy did it add a lot to it!
