I am in love with this book, bend the rules SEWING, by Amy Karol(the fabric store near my house is closing so I got the book for 50% off, score!).  The cover project is so cute and easy and makes a last minute gift.  I have made a few of these so far and plan to make many more.

This one i made as a last minute gift for a friend to keep her invisaline braces in:

This one i made for a swap, I used red linen fabric and painted the dots on it:

It is really fun to pick out contrasting fabrics and the buton Cheesy

I love those bags!
Gorgeous fabric on the first one!    Really cute idea on the dots on the second one!  I LOVE the lining on the Second, how darling!
What a great idea for gifts!

 Thanks for sharing!

Nice.  I might have to make one.  It's sad though that the fabric store near your house is closing.  It would be better if the next closest one was closing.

I recently got that book and have been lusting after one of those! I really like the fabrics you chose!
