So I found this AMAZING old Singer for $20 at the thrift store today. Works great, came with tons of extra parts. The only problem? I don't know squat about sewing machines. Whoops. SO far all I could find were these numbers: 185K and CAT-8-1
Not sure if those do any good but I would love to find some user manuals or guides or something for this machine so I can get it going.

Never try to teach a pig to sing; it wastes your time and it annoys the pig.

Don't you just love finds like that!

I scored a Singer Fashion Mate 237 (made in France) in great condition today for $8! I was dropping off donations and the same guy taking them helped me when I saw the machine.

Congrats on your find:)
