Well I've been busy and I have to make two more for my kids.  They have both ordered one up.  But so far I've made six.  I was going to make four...(we have friends with four daughters) then my husband was going to visit old friends of ours with two girls, so the bunnies were all perfect gifts.  Here they are.

These I knitted and crocheted scarves for

It is hard to see but the black one has pink eyes and nose.  The ears are a black fabric with pink dots.  It actually turned out to be my favorite.  They are all fleece except for the white one which I made from a micro fleece blanket I found at wal-mart.  It is the softest.

I have to add the bunny I made for my newest nephew to this thread.  Thanks for sharing this adorable pattern.

I love the scarfs made by summertimerolls too! I wish I'd thought to do that.

First thought: That's adorable, but I don't like rabbits.
Second Thought: Well.. it's not a real rabbit, and it IS cute.
Third Thought: Why would I want a plushie rabbit?
Fourth Thought: Gotta enlarge this pattern...

So that's my weekend sorted Tongue I'll post pics when I'm done. Thanks for the pattern! Everyone did such great things with bunny, all unique and packed with personality!

Please do!  And don't they say that if you can't follow the instructions, it's the instructor's fault anyway?   Wink

hmmm...perhaps, but in this case i would say that its the student's inability to follow instructions thoroughly.

but i did make the bunny and she came out pretty darn cute despite my failings as a sewer.

i did several things that made construction of this cute lil' fluff more difficult including 1) sewing the ears on by machine through a slit in the head and 2) making the darn thing way smaller than i maybe should have forcing me to sew the head on by hand.  i suck at hand sewing.  correction, i suck bad at hand sewing.  hence the ribbon around the bunny's neck.  without it she is franken'bunny.  ah well.

here are the promised photos plus a shot next to my cell phone to give an idea of her size.

here's the cute lil' bugger from the front

and from the back...check out that cute lil' rump

and with my cell...next time i make this bunny she's going to be bigger so i can sew her head to her body by machine and prevent the franken'bunny image.

despite the hangups she was great fun to make and i hope the lil' girl who receives her is pleased with her.
thanks so much for posting the pattern!!!

I too had to hand sew on the head and add a ribbon!  Cheesy Don't feel bad! You may want to add some glue or a few stitches to keep the ribbon in place during play. I did!  Wink
