My first EVER beading experience.  It was fun!  But man, does it strain your eyeballs.   Smiley

The hooks and jump rings look gold, but are infact silver, and the seed beads are as shown.  Don't know if I'll ever wear them, but I'm proud of them none the less.  What do you think?

And yes, that is my towell bar and two hair ties...  I couldn't think of anything else to use.   Grin

Thoses are beautiful, and if you don't wanna wear them you could always send them to me, Wink lol.

As someone who has been working with seed beads for many years, I think you picked one of the hardest things to start with. Dang! You did a great job.The colors and pattern look good.
And I personally think the hair ties look great. Good thinkin' lady.

Aww jeez, thanks guys.   Grin

I used to be intimidated by jewelry making because I thought it'd be more stressful than relaxing, but I guess not!  Even though you're working with smaller stuff, you can get a rythm down just like with other crafts.  I learned REALLY fast to open the jump rings side to side instead of pulling them apart, and after that it was pretty smooth sailing.

The seed beads were kind of a pain, but I love them too much to hate.

And sure, mrs.benjimadden, I could send them your way... for a price, MUHAHAHAA...

Okay, uncalled for.

They were kind of expensive though, all sterling silver.  I probably don't need to go all out for my first projects, but I can't help but to love nice stuff.

Thanks again for the compliments, I'm all warm and fuzzy now. ('Course that could be the liquor...)  Grin

Thanks, everybody!  I decided I'm in live with jump rings.  They can look so cool even just by themselves for necklaces, bracelets, or earrings!  Does anyone know of a cheap place I can buy them?  I'd love to buy only sterling silver ones, but I'm learning how expensive that would be.  Still, I have allergies to just about anything else.   Undecided
