Usually I'm more the knitting kind, but I'm staying with my mom for the next couple weeks and she beads, so I thought I'd give it a whirl.  She's really good at it, I'm trying to get her on Craftster, but here's what I've made the past few nights.

The first is a set made with tiger eyes and some silver stuff.  I don't know what the names are but I called them tubey things and star things.

The second is pretty much the same idea, only with black beads instead of brown so I have something for nearly any outfit.

I like them; enough to wear in public anyway.  Smiley
Thanks for looking!

very cool. That would be so awesome if you could get your mom on here, you could be the ultimate crafting duo. My mom's an amazing painter, but she isn't very confident- she would never do craftster. And definite kudos to you for leaving your comfort zone and trying a new craft.

These are completely worthy of public display Wink

Beautiful!  I won't tell your yarn, promise!  I love the tiger eye one!

It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.

WOW - they look very professional!  I love the "silver tubey thingies" - My fiance got me a necklace made with "silver tubey thingies" from a handmade jewelry shop.. now I am thinking I should make a bracelet like this to match..!

I think they look like you have been beading for years!  Great work!
