Cute! I thought they were resin, too, which I've been wanting to try, but this seems so much easier.
Thanks for the idea!

Your welcome and Thanks!! I've tried resin as an overlayer but not as a mold - I'm afraid LOL but maybe someday I will.

Okay so once again I am completely redoing my pictures. Got tired of photobucket, the only reason I used it was for here so I decided I will just use Craftster's photo uploader. So while I am switching over my photo links will be broken. Message me if there is a post you would like the pics for.

That's such a great idea! I hope you don't mind if I try that, too. I also thought about experimenting with resin but your version seems like a good idea to try out first.

How did you seal the back-side of the pendants or didn't you seal them at all? I would be a bit frightened the paper which is glued to the back might peel off after a while ...

Best wishes from Cologne

Thank you very much! I used mod podge to attach them and then I sealed them with a few layer of acrylic varnish, so hopefully they stay put Smiley

It seems that different people have an idea of what I am, and what I should be. And then there's me.

These are super cute!  Looks just like resin!  Only much easier I assume (I'm scared to try resin too!)

I did a similar pendant with the larger glass stones (about 1 1/2" in diameter) and used a piece of origami paper that I've had in my stash since I was 8.  I used Goop to glue it to the stone and then used a bent piece of wire sandwiched to the stone with a circle of black leather.  I also used some patterned fabric instead of the origami paper.  I like the smaller ones - they look really cute.
