And never has there been a more thoughtful swapper: littlebiskit even included a bag of cheez-its for Darla! Because of this of symbol of goodwill and friendship, Darla approves of the ribbon organizer box. And so do I.

I love that your cat is named Darla!  I always want to give our pets human names, just for the coolness of it, but my kids won't often let me.  we do have a ringo starr currently, and in the past have had hitchcock and liberace, but that's just not the same as fred or joe.

sorry to be off topic Grin

Yay Darla!  I'm glad she liked her treats!  I found somewhere that you had posted she liked them, and that was too cute of a tidbit not to include them for her.  She's beautiful!

And I'm glad you like the organizer!

Eliea - My daughter keeps pointing at the poppet and saying "cat!  cat!"  She's quite intrigued.  And I can't stop petting her hair!  That's some soft soft yarn you used!   I still am squeeing over the fact she's with me now!
lol. My baby sister actually picked her up by the hair and was like "thats a lotta lotta hair!" Luckily it's a wig so it didn't hurt anything.

As to joining the next few rounds and making poppets so long as I can make them fit the theme I'm game. Smiley

I saw them in the OTT swap gallery a couple rounds ago and they mesmerized me - and didn't even realize you made them!

I only made some of those. I got that little bottle of them in another swap. I used about half to make a mobile. I just filled in the ones I used since I wasn't ever going to use the rest.

MY DD picked the shower curtain - I said "something blue or green" and she got a mountain stream with trout and eagles, LOL!

That's... quite a shower curtain, lol.  Grin

Thank you so much dropdeadjen! Very happy swapper here!

I'm glad you liked it! I really really loved mine.

PS. As for the cheezit cat, I have a cat that eats potato chips. He steals a lot of people food, sometimes right from your hand as you are trying to eat it! He hears the chip bag and comes running. Same thing for any cheese wrapper.

Can you make things that will look cute in my apartment? Let's swap!

Oh, those crazy cats. This is completely on subject because it is related to my ribbon organizer:

Darla has discovered that if she takes a bit of the ribbon in her mouth and whips her head around she can quickly have a lot of ribbon to play with!

Thats why we named her Darla-she is a Little Rascal (like the old tv show and movie).

Time to put the box on the TOP of the bookshelf. hehe

(and the cheezits: It's not just cheezits.  If I leave the pantry open at night I will often wake up to a loaf of bread with little kitty bites taken out of it. She is just a Carb Freak)

That owl sleep mask is a hoot! Wink I might have to make one! And, those nesting bowls are awesome. I would have loved them, but since I guessed that the odds were against it, I already bought an Embellish Knit and some wool yarn to try making a couple of my own.

amybarnett, did you just whipstitch the coils together before you felted them? And, did you use a form to get the right shape after they were felted?

The choices you make today determine the choices you will have tomorrow.
