So, I haven't posted in an age and a half, but folks seemed to like the grocery bag sandals I put up here some time ago, and since I made two more pairs, I thought I would share!  I whipped these up for a little show I was in with the theme of "Remix, Reuse, Recycle."  I didn't use any patterns, I just winged it, undoing and redoing as necessary to fit my feet.  The middle pair is the original I posted before, and the other two are the new ones.

And a couple of action shots of the new shoes:

Thanks for looking Smiley

i love the idea of using strips of bags as well as crocheting them, gives it different texture!

Thanks guys :)  missapril--yep, they're pretty comfy, except when it's too hot.  And stitchintheditch -- I did a tutorial for the middle pair a really long time ago, which you can find at:

https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=87737.0

The differences for the other two pairs are pretty simple.  For the pair on the left, I just started inserting decreases and built up the sides of the shoe for a couple of rounds instead of adding straps, and the pair on the right I just stopped when it fit the sole of my foot.  Then for both of those, I actually wove the bag "yarn" back and forth along the edges to make the tops, rather than crocheting.  Pretty easy!
