My daughter loves that movie!
Next time I sew a garment for her, I'll decorate it with a Totoro embroidery.

I'm not entirely happy with how the umbrella turned out so I'll probably tweak it a little. I'll use brighter colors too.

This is amazing. I am particularly in awe over the details on the tummy, the claws, and the umbrella's stick. I cannot manage to do that without it looking all weird. Not even sure what that stitch is called.

Thanks! It's a satin stitch. I didn't do it by hand though, I only digitized it. Smiley

yeah for the 350e's!
Mine is also a 350e - you did a great job digitizing it - I have not had enough time to really play much with my embird.  I keep saying I will but I keep putting it off to do other things... I am just happy I am getting pretty quick with editing.. more you use it the better you know it... slow and steady wins the race...!

I have to say though that I am actually considering *maybe* looking in to trading my machine in for a different brand - I cringe at the thought though - but I really really want a machine with a 6x10 hoop and have massive regrets that I didn't get one with that size to start off with. - hangs head in shame....

bhean - check your local dealers - they usually take trades in and have a good number of them discounted.  People  buy *starter* ones - like the 300 or 350e then they want to trade up and trade in their old ones... It is a great way to go for a decent priced one - just promise me you won't buy the one from Walmart - it is a p.o.c.
