Yeah!!  I am the first one to post pictures 'cuz I have the world's greatest swap partner, ShesxCrafty!  I don't even have words to describe the stuff I got - AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, AWESOME - they just don't cut it.  Obviously this post is img intense - I don't know if these pics will justice to the actual items, but here goes ...

First, a wonderful pair of Mary Jane slippers, in a great purple color (not blue like in the picture) and as comfy as can be.  They immediately went on my feet and I think I will wear them forever - so cute!  (Pardon my ugly, old lady feet, please!)

Next, a pair of fingerless gloves, in my favorite colors (black and deep green) - PERFECT for Arizona winters (cold, but not COLD)  I really wanted a pair of these and I love knitted items, since I can't do it.  I can't wait to wear them when I start running again in the winter.

The prettiest pincushion ever - I had plenty on my Wist and I never expected one so nice (now I can get rid of the old timey tomato and strawberry one!)  And, the special part - she put coffee beans in the bottom because I LOVE COFFEE - it totally smells awesome!  (Am I using too many exclamation points?!  I can't help myself, I'm so amazed!)

I know this picture doesn't do justice to this, because this little baby Phoenix keychain is fantastic - it is so cute!!  (My cat immediately tried to steal that one away for himself.)  Maybe I need to take a picture holding it so you can see how tiny and delicate it is - so sweet.

And, of course, I saved the best for last.  I actually had tears in my eyes when I opened this up, it is so beautiful and I couldn't have asked for something more personal than this.

A hand-painted Phoenix totebag!  I consider it to be a work of art and it's so awesome, made just for me!!  (You can't imagine how excited I am about it!)  The Phoenix is my personal representation for the element of Fire, and my personal power "animal".  As a Wiccan, I am totally into the elements and am particularly drawn to the Phoenix (I had a "calling" to move out here).  Vyvien incorporated all four elements into the artwork - Air, Water, Earth and my Phoenix - Fire.  I just can't get over this - I can't come up with the words to describe how intensely happy I am - no, seriously!  I would have accepted anything from anyone, even the absolute beginner, but I really struck gold with Vyvien as my partner.

Here's a pic of a little more detail - it looks even better in real life:

I also mentioned that I am currently doing much reading in Buddhism and would love an Ohm symbol onsomething, so on the back of the tote -

(Everyone needs a little Ohm in their lives!)

I can't over-emphasize how beautiful the painting is on this bag!

I could go on and on and on about how thrilled I am (how dare you even think about suffering from craft anxiety, ShesxCrafty - you did a fantastic job!) but I'm sure you'd rather me post them now ...

(Now I am going to go and suffer a little craft anxiety myself ...)

Got this piece of shrinky dink ... had it for 25 years now.  It's moved to five states and one European country ... and I just know, someday ... SOMEDAY ... I WILL use it!
