I took part in the Ravelympics in the Vest competition.
My entry, Molly Ringwald from the Fall 06 Knitscene.

It's a really easy knit and I completed it in 4 days.

Am so happy with this.  Not only did I use my stash - Knitpicks Shine Sport on 3.5mm and 3mm, I used about 4 balls, so I have a ball left... Hmm... Is that a good thing?
 Huh

Anyways, photos!

Thoughts anyone?

1st look:

Angled look:

The ruffles at the bodice:

If you look carefully, you can see the increases which I am quite happy with:

I'm not sure how they're gonna stay on my shoulders though...:

I just like this photo:

You can handsew a little snap into sleeves at the topseam, and then the other half of the snap to your bra, that should a) help the sleeve stay in place and b) not show the world your bra.

I lovethe color you chose.  Such a yummy looking grape!

Very cute!  Buy some Hollywood Fashion Tape -- they sell it at Joann etc and Bed, Bath and Beyond (and probably other places as well). I swear by it for keeping tank straps and low cut V-necks in place.

Great job!
