So yesterday I decided I wanted to make cupcakes because we have nothing to eat, so cupcakes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner sounded like a good idea to me. Roll Eyes I was just going to use my normal cupcake recipe that I found here: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Simple-White-Cake/Detail.aspx then I saw this post: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=262299.0 and was inspired. Why make normal cupcakes when you have food coloring? So then I was thinking what colors to make them. I'll be starting school in two weeks at Baylor University, so I decided to make them as a practice run for many more green and yellow cupcakes to come, I'm sure. For the icing I made powdered sugar icing, powdered sugar, water, vanilla soy milk, and some butter. I don't have proper icing tools, so I used a butter knife and a plastic sandwich bag to decorate, that was a pain, the bag kept splitting at the seam. The inside isn't exactly zebra stripes, but still looks pretty cool, I was thoroughly entertained at least. Oh, and they tasted really good too!

Sic 'em Bears!   Cheesy  I graduated from Baylor in 2002 - and I went back for my Masters in English there because I loved some of my professors so much!  I still stop and grab a coffee at Common Grounds and walk around whenever I happen to drive through Waco.  Have fun in the bubble--and don't go all 4 years without going in the Armstrong-Browning Library!   Grin
