My girlfriend has a iv pump and we have dozens of syringes(needless) everywhere!
It's killing me that all this is going to the waste dump- they are not hazerdous, they were just full of saliene.
I need to make something with all these- plus I have iv tubing and saliene bags up the wazoo!
I was thinking of using the syringes to hold stuff, like advil or mouthwash...Making a lil holder for them, like those metal test tube holders we all played with in chemistry, and then hanging them on the wall.
Anyone else have any cool ideas? I'm drowning in these things Tongue

could you knit or weave the tubing into something?
cut up the syringes and use them like beads...
i dunno - just some thoughts

lol, I read the title of your post and thought of the bucket full of used syringes my boyfriend has (he's diabetic and never bothers to find where to get rid of them).

as for ideas...  we had a couple of those from when my dad was on dialysis, and my mom used one for watering her mini herb garden (it was a slightly large one).

I have a bunch too for my animals, luckily I can boil them and reuse them. An Idea though, is to use one for glue. It is easier to fix a chair or something when you can get in with something small and squirt just a bit in...

well there's one down....lol

I'll keep thinking....

I love syringes. You could use them as pencils (stick some lead in there Wink) or I don't know, make a necklace? I'd love to have a syringe necklace or earrings! Maybe you could decorate them and then put them in a glass jar?

I have a bag full of tubing from when my late DH was on oxygen.  His supplier said the couldn't take it back, even though it is still sealed.  I have several 4' lengths, a couple 25' and I think I have one 50'  Some of it is green, most is clear. Anyone?

I dunno if yours are the right size for this or if you drink....But we used to make jello shots in ours (we bought them unused in bulk at a medical supply store) and when you want one you just squirted in in your mouth they were great....sorry i could't think of anything a little more crafty.....
