Oh my goodness!  That is AWESOME!!!  My dad seems to end up in the hospital at least once a year for the past 5 years.  He would have loved to have this one shown to him. 

He hates the ones they really use too.

Wow, I love it!  I was extremely bitter about the pain scale when I had malaria.  It's so condescending...  I always thought, "Well, since I've never been on the verge of death, a 10 for me is completely different from someone who has undergone something really torturous.."  Your version is far superior!  Love the captions.

I work at a hospital and I have to introduce this pain scale to my staff next week. I am totally going to show them these photos to lighten it up! Awesome!

That's great. I love it.

I work in a pulmonary function lab (errr...I do breathing tests) and one of the tests we do is a walk test where you have to rate how short of breath and tired you are an a scale of 0-10. Everyone has a hard time with it. I totally want to remake it, but I really don't think they'd let me.

Anyway, I love your pain scale and really hope you sis is gonna be okay.
