Hi! I made this puppet called Bismuth this evening. It was a quick but fun craft and i'm very happy with the results! I'll update this with an animation as soon as I can.

It's simply polymer clay over a simple wire armature. I used glow in the dark clay, and colored it with light washes, so it still glows. Unfortunately, my crap camera can't pic k it up in the dark.

My girlfriend loved it as soon as she saw it, so we made another one together. She designed it and I helped her make it. His name is Astatine.

I hope you like it  Grin

(for the curious, Bismuth looks like this:

I love it when people say they made something in an evening.  I think that is so cool.  I love his face.  Very expressive.  About how tall is he?  Good job.  Can't wait to see the animation.

My world is an unusual one.

wyntersea: thank you^^ he's aprox. 7'' tall. and an evening is bigger than it sounds, when it comes to small dolls like that :p

katherine24: thanks! and yeah, the "I'm going to kill you while you sleep" part is spot on... when I turn off the lights, all I see is Bismuth's face's greenish glow piercing the darkness XD

I don't find them creepy at all. I find them kind of lovable like a couple of elderly brothers who never married, and live together, puttering around in their garden and maybe brewing their own beer.

haha brewing their own beer, that's a great idea! i'll try using it if I make a full animation with them. thanks!
