I would totally be in for a Dexter swap! Unfortunately I have myself a nice big ole negative in my feedback until my replacement package arrives on the doorstep of my poor swap buddy Sad Damned postal service.

Dexter is one of the greatest shows I've ever seen!  Dying to see season three!  You've captured him and the mood of the show brilliantly, you're very skilled!

First off, that is an awesome portrait.  I love it.  We just watched season 1 and the first disc of season 2 this week, and i also just finished the first book (library) and picked up the other two from hold at the library as well.  Honestly?  I disagree with everyone here saying the books are not great.  True, the deneument was sort of rushed, but dexter is very charming.  Also Jeff Linday's prose is beautiful at times.  I love the show (and only watched Six Feet Under for Michael C Hall anyways, as the main character/straight brother was a total shmuck)  I am uncertain as to whether i would purchase the dexter books (unless i saw a good deal on an omnibus or boxed set or something) but getting them from the library, they're good.  They are not exactly the same as the show, after all the show has amazingly high production values, great writing, an awesome score and cinematography, also the aforementioned amazing lead.  Its an altogether great show, but the books are still a good read.

my hubby and I are Dexter fans too!  You did a great likeness of him and choosing the bowling was great!
