my first topic on craftster!
my mum and I made the sock monkey blanket for my sisters babies (yes, she had twins!)
we made this one first and then we're making another with the blue yarn for the second twin.

here it is waiting for the babies to come home from the hospital

here it is in action!! aw baby sebastain, such a cutie.
my sister in law is expecting a baby in january, I think I will edit the pattern a little to make it into a panda blanket (their baby room will be panda themed)

I will definatley post the panda blanket. for colours I'm going to do the squares green brown and white, with a black trim... and obviously put little panda faces on them. I'm excited Cheesy

hee hee!  I like sock monkeys.  and a sock monkey blanket, thats just the coolest crochet blanket ive ever seen!  Where did you find the pattern, if you dont mind me asking.

Want to learn to crochet or knit?  I have a ton of extra crochet hooks & circular knitting needles.  Will throw in some pattern books and yarn for anyone interested in a swap.

Adorable!  My boyfriend just recently bought me this book (because I had been lusting after one of patterns0 and when I was looking through the patterns, I showed him this project and he made me promise that I would make him a hat with the monkey on it, lol!
