Who doesn't love Totoro? I painted him free hand using a picture off the internet for reference.

Thanks for looking!

Adorable!
I've never painted a shirt, what kind of paint do you use?
You've inspired me. I must have Totoro too!

I use a brand called Jacquard. I like the metallic paint because it's meant for dark fabric.

Wow, this is awesome! I just recently watched My Neighbor Totoro for the first time, and absolutely LOVED it. I "squee-ed" when I saw this shirt. :p Your painting skills are amazing.

Wow!  That turned out awesome looking... you really can't tell it was done by hand.  It looks like a professional print!

I've tried hand painting shirts... but the result has always been less than worth the effort.  You've definitely got a lot of skill!  Keep up the good work.

Thank you! I promise it is 100% hand painted. I used a picture I found online to look at and just roughly sketched it on in pencil then took a paint brush and fabric paint and went to town. Unfortunately for me, I forgot to iron it before I wore it and it's cracking now. It lasted for a while, though.
