so before anyone thinks i'm some creepy fan that makes the members random weird stuff,  Cheesy i'm friends with the bassist from atreyu, marc, (we grew up together & he was my first boyfriend  Wink) & he messaged me saying he'd shown his drummer some of my work & he was interested in getting a piece made for his wife! i was stoked  Grin

we emailed each other & we figured out what he wanted to do..and this is what i came up with...

i used the anatomical heart from the sublime stitching vital organs patterns..love them! most of the heart is done with chain stitch..and i like the way this turned out better than the last one i did. the date at the top is the date they got married-october 19, 2007.

with the frame  Smiley

close up of the frame, because i thought it was so cool!

i hope him & his little wifey like it! i was happy to make it for them Smiley

I'm so stealing that idea for my own anniversary. I ordered the Vital Organs pattern a few days ago, because for Christmas I wanted to make undies for my sister with the ovaries on them.

Oooo, I really like the chain stitching on the heart.  That definitely gives me ideas for our next anniversary.  Awesome work, as always!  My husband loves Atreyu's cover of "You Give Love a Bad Name".  That's really cool that you're friends with one of the members!  My six degrees from Kevin Bacon-style claim to fame is that my husband used to be roommates with some of the guys from Jimmy Eat World.
