I love to watch Project Runway, even though I don't know how to sew clothes.  Everytime I go to my craft room to quilt or do other fabric crafts I always say that thing Heidi says on Project Runway, "It's Sew Time".  I couldn't think of a better quote to hang up in my craft room.

Above is a picture of it in a frame for my room.  I made up the pattern.  The letters are slightly altered from some I found in a book of alphabets.  In the corners are little log cabin blocks.  I sewed on a fabric "border" just like I would for a quilt.

This is a little closer so you can see how I did the border and the little log cabin corners.

Even closer you can see that there are flowers and a little bee in the letters.

I had so much fun making this!
Enjoy!

Thank you so much for your kind comments.  I didn't know you could have neat or messy cross stitches.  I'm sure I just didn't get a close up picture of my mistakes. Smiley

That's so pretty. What's the name of the letters you used? I like the sunflowers.

Well done. And I agree it's a great quote to have in a sewing or craft room.
