I also went to the Indie Sacramento craft fair and it was great! I probably wandered around for 2+ hours and spent way too much money Grin Plus, they had swag bags and free coffee and hot chocolate! They're starting a monthly thing and the next one is Jan. 3rd - the location is different, but you can find the info on their website. I also won one of the raffles and got a boxed set of the first year of Craft Magazine! Anyway, I had a lot of fun and it's inspired me to work more on my own crafts so I might be a vendor some time next year Smiley

I just joined craftster. I live in Sacramento, close to downtown. I am currently on an embroidery kick, but I also sew reasonably well, and make jewelery. I haven't knitted in years, but would like to start again, and I would love to learn how to crochet.

If anyone is interested in meeting up to exchange ideas, fabric scraps, ect, please message me.

I went to the last indie craft show, it was really small. I might go to the Feb. one but am not sure yet!

Hello all:

I am a year into my new adventure in Sacramento, have always been a craftster and am new to this thread!  Had I known this was on here I would have been searching for all you fellow Sacramento-ers!  I'm big on all types of crafts and willing to learn, share, and meet anyone interested in Sacramento County!  I'm living close to downtown right now..

Feel free to check out my myspace www.myspace.com/chelsers13   - of course I have an album specific for my projects!

Hi all!
I belong to a group called SactoMetro, it's a Street Team for Etsy shop owners in the Sacramento area. All you have to do to join is have an active Etsy shop and live in the area. Just go to http://groups.google.com/group/sactometro and request membership.

While the group has been around for a while it kind of went stagnant, but we have flushed the folks who weren't active and are now accepting new blood. We are revitalizing this group. We want to have somewhat regular get-togethers and do some shows as a group as well.

And if you haven't heard of Etsy but want to sell your handmade goodies online you really need to check it out!

Check out my Etsy shop!

There's a Yahoo Group of crafty girls that meet up from time to time in the sacramento area.  Here's the link for that:

Thanks for the info on the Etsy Team - I have to check that out!

I go to Sac State and If anyone wants to meet up on campus, do a little crafting and get some Java City or something, Id totally be down.

If not here, my boyfriend lives in Rosemont right off of Jackson, and if theres any crafters over in that area, I could meet up!
