You know that looks like this thing they sell at Micheals (I remember having to stock them up when I worked there haha) where it looked similar to that, but much much larger (like 2 feet long), and they called it a 'sweater knitter' or something weird haha

I used to do something like this when I was young. We did ours with a toilet paper roll and 4 popsicle sticks. It's the same principle, except it "knits" in the round. I like the comb idea!  Cheesy

I know what you are describing.  Except we used wooden/styrofoam thread spools with 5 nails.  They called it "spool knitting".  We made many a bracelet with our spools!
