This was completely inspired by madpimp's work here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=177160.msg1857468#msg1857468
She deserves serious props for an awesome design and a very helpful tutorial.

This one here was made for my sister (it's her birthday), so it fits on my body kind of strangely. She's taller, thinner, has bigger boobs and broader shoulders (luckily the fabric is pretty stretchy) so hopefully it will look better on her than on me!

I've never made a top from scratch (just recons) and I've certainly never made anything with a hood, so this project was quite educational. Although I love the way it came out overall, next time, hopefully, the little details will be more professionally executed. (I won't even tell you about those seams!)  Cheesy

Do you say 'yes' to a single desire? Oh, my friends, then you say 'yes' to all pain.

Cute!   Grin

I'm a dabbler.  I know just a bit about almost everything, but expert at nothing.  Working on that though.

That's really cute and I think it looks very professional.
Great job for a first top from scratch. Great job regardless, actually.
I like the stars with the green as well.

Beginning of school year resolutions: Granny-square blanket, scarf for the man, swimsuit bottoms, better organization for crafting supplies, computer case of some kind, 2 amigurumi and a pair of underwear.

Lovely! I like the stars and the colour.

"I wonder what Piglet is doing," thought Pooh,
"I wish I were there to be doing it, too."
