my first attempt at the martha tissue paper pom.  i'm pretty happy with it overall, but i'm not too crazy about the print.  i think i'll stick with solids for the rest.

p.s. please forgive the poor quality of the picture.

it was actually pretty easy once i got the hang of it.  lot's of other ladies on here have used these for their weddings too.  there is a pretty straight forward tute on Martha's site on these.

they fold pretty fast but do take a minute to fluff well, but all in all they go really fast.  my friend and I just made like 15 tonight in a couple hours and that was with lots of breaks for cocktails and the like.

you are fabulous for posting the link, because I've been looking for that link but all I can find is tissue paper flowers..not poms.
Anyways, I love it. And I LOVE the pattern. I think it would look neat balanced off with some solid colored poms also. Well done  Grin

Good Job!  I also did a trial run at home before my brother-in-law's reception.  One thing I learned is to Be gentle.  You'd think I would know that, but no.  I forgot just how gentle you have to be with these puppies.

Also, doesn't matter how you open or seperate the layers, you can always fluff and adjust any way you need to.  Right now I have a pretty cream one decorating my dining room until It's time to haul all my tissue paper to NV Smiley

Great job!
