OH MY GOD.. I had read a lot about how metallic thread was a b*tch to work with on these boards, but of course, I'm thinking,"Aw it can't be that bad..." Well... Now I see what y'all were talking about! I found an old crusty handkerchief and decided to embroider Buddha on it and frame it. It doesn't photo well though because of the material.

So.. here it is!

OMG this is simply beautiful!  My jaw literally dropped when your picture loaded!  You must be incredibly talented and patient to work with metallic thread.  I tried using it but gave up and pulled out the few stitches I made and switched to nice ol cotton floss.  Amazing job!  Cheesy

This is stunning!  You must have the patience of a saint.  Like most of the crafters here, I have tried metallics, got frustrated and put it down.  This is incredible work!
