I decided to knit myself one of these, seeing as they looked pretty easy and I wanted to try something other than a scarf (I must have about fifty of them, by now - I think I'm probably ready for something a bit more challenging!).

I substituted a bead for a button, because I'm far too impatient and wanted it finished in one go but didn't have any suitable buttons around. It doesn't really hold too well though, so I think I'm going to have to replace it. Apart from that, I'm really happy with it!

wow, meringue! It's so cute! Grin
Don't you just love that bright bright pink yarn?!  It so totally rocks!
And the hearts are so cute!
You should definitely find a button just like your bead.  It's so perfect, I'd be sad to see it go!
GREAT JOB-thanks for your addition!

I"m a beginner.  Undecided This is my first project.. and pretty much all I can make right now. I made an iPod cozy for my friend.. it was supposed to be a rabbit !.. but turned into a cat - rabbit hybrid of some sort, hehe.  Lips sealed I love seeing everyone's variations on here. Great work!

This is so cute!  I guess you just need to do the ears a little longer and it would be perfect!

A message about iPod safety:

It's prolly been said before, but it's worth repeating:

Please keep your iPod in something that will *protect* it. If you drop it, not only does it cause unsightly dings, but if it's on, the shock of a fall can also screw up the hard drive. It happened to me, and I narrowly escaped the fate of buying a new iPod by going to a different Apple store and schmoozing a nice genius. I'm currently working on a nice, thick, cushy, very preppy argyle cosy, which hopefully will keep the Pod intact and running for several years to come. Will post pics when finished.

It's white and red. I <3 it.

Just got an ipod and a computer that will support it. I too can't wait to start making ipod cozies! I bought a skin (I can't be too careful) but heard the silicon attracts lint and dust. So I bought microfiber yarn to make my cozy, hopefully the microfiber will keep the silicon lint free. Tell you how it works.

And thanks for all the great ideas for cozies!

Goodbye Tucson! I will miss how everything dried so quickly!
