Oh honey! Not only is this one of the coolest things I've ever seen, but I feel so sad knowing that you didn't receive an overwhelming amount of support from the start. You made something beautiful! I certainly don't have the patience to make something like this.. the work you put in really shows and it is just so cool!!! I love it.

WOW! You put me to shame Homie! That is truly art in it's finest shown through amass of dedication and desire. Whom ever scoffed you was a real jerk. That is awe inspiring. Matter of factly you have now inspired me! Great job!

Ooooers, fantastic skirt - I've wanted a patchy rainbow skirt for a long time, and maybe this is the inspiration I need to get off my duff and make one!

I think this is really awesome!  And one thing I've learned from all of my crafting experience is that not everyone will appreciate the hardwork and pride you see in all of your creations.  So you must lift your head high and just say, well, if you could do better then let's see!  (That normally shuts them up pretty quick).  I think this is so cool and I really want one of my own-but alas, someday.

I LOVE your skirt. It is beautiful.  It reminds me of a swirl dress my mom made for me when I was in grade school.  My dress was sleeveless, with a small ruffle on top of shoulder, like a cap sleeve and the bottom was long and was made of 3 or 4 colors of gingham, yellow, pink and blue is what I remember.  The bottom flowed out like yours and I LOVED to twirl around and make it spin out.

You did a great job, don't let anyone put you down!

This is amazing, simply amazing! Patchwork seems straight forward, but from experience, I know how time consuming and tedious it can be and I have never attempted anything on this level! Your color choices and color placement is beautiful! All I can say, is Woweeeeee!!!! Grin

I've always found that people who ridicule your work are jealous that they cannot do it themselves.  I think the skirt is stunning!  If i had the talent to make and wear it, i would.  What a beautiful job you've done!  Smiley

This skirt is absolutely AMAZING (repeat - AMAAAAAAAZING) and I cannot imagine how patient you must be to have done this.
