working on a bigger crown...

Hello all! For my 17h birthday, my friend and I threw a Hollywood theme party. I dressed up as Pocahontas (even though strictly speaking she's Disney not Hollywood Embarrassed but no one complained Grin) The photos are taken at the party, you can see me holding my presents and cutting the cake.

So without any further ado, I present the Pocahontas costume I made myself:

I used suede and I made the fringe by cutting little srtips. I gave myself a red tattoo on my arm and everything! I had fun making it and i had fun wearing it!

xx ani

I changed the links so hopefully they work now

Your links are telling me I must become a member & login in order to view the images.  You may want to consider hosting the images here at Craftster (free!), so the images will show directly in your post Smiley

I love it!!  I was waiting for the pictures to work on this one!  I love that you made it out of suede!  Awesome job, I can't imagine anyone complaining that it isn't 'Hollywood'

I love it. My mum made me a pocahontas dress out of curtains when I was little, but it was no where as nice as that one.

Remember: To the world you might be one person, but to one person you might be the world.

See my website for my products (will post to anywhere in UK at cost of postage and packaging). It is a little out of date due to a server crash. Please email me if you want a custom order

I love it! Pocahontas always was my favourite Disney princess Smiley
I like the little details too, like the arm band.
very nice touch Wink

and I thought I would point out my extreme experience with coincidence with this..
I watched the movie with my cousin last week, and I got the songs stuck in my head.
And the one that I downloaded came on just as i scrolled down and saw this.
I thought it was a very cool cowinkydink Smiley
(ya I know, i'm a nerd. I still listen to disney)
