hello...im new here...i was wondering if anyone knew of where i can get wallpaper remnants, just small pieces about 12x12 size...because i have this idea...above my couch in my living room, i wanted to put some kind of art work...but i wanted it to be original and made by me...so i seen in a magazine...that you get different sized wood frames..and put the wallpaper in them and hang them in a nice pettern on the wall...so iwas looking around for wall paper..and i dont want to buy entire rolls of it because it'll go to waste...so if anyone know where in Chicago i can find some remnants please let me know! thanks!! Go to interior decorating stores and the like, and ask about old sample books. Wallpaper (like upholstery and curtain fabric) is seasonal and changes with fashion, so when they get the new collection from a designer, the old lot is superseded. They will either give the sample books to you for free, or for a nominal fee.

The other option is to approach the wallpapering/decorating professionals - ask if they have any remnants from jobs. You're more likely to get larger pieces this way.

Crochet uses a hook. Pirates have hooks, and they are cool. So crochet is cool because of the hook.
