Wow! That looks incredible and you would never guess it hadn't been built by 10 big burly builders with plumber's cracks that take four weeks to remove a floor  Shocked

And you tell the best stories  Cheesy, the best bits by far are the 'unscrewing' of dear Greg and the white stuff in the basement winking at you  Tongue.

RIP little birdie, baby birds are notoriously fragile without their feathered mummies, you did your best. Animal shelters never want to take baby birds unless they are some rare native species, apparently innocent baby sparrows are supposed to be left for dead  Angry. Sorry, touchy subject  Smiley.

You must be so proud of your efforts and it looks like you overcame you nervous breakdown quite well  Cheesy

What kind of tile is your accent band? I can tell it's glass, but I mean the manufacturer. I LOVE it!

We bought the accent tile off of eBay.  I searched and searched and searched for iridescent tile, but I really liked this stuff so we went for it.

It's bubble glass iridescent... and the tiles that we got are called "Swizzle sticks".  They're 1/2 or less and about 4 or 6 inches long.  we had to do two rows to make ONE band of iridescentness and they are significantly thinner than the white tiles so we had extra work to do with the building up of grout to make sure the tiled wall was even.

If you'd like more information, PM me and I'll see if I can find the eBay seller for you.

happy crafting!

Bad ass - thank you!

Wow! That is one of the most intense remodeling sagas ever Wink but I'm glad it all worked out in the end. That is one gorgeous bathroom. I'm not usually a big fan of purple walls, but I must say you completely pulled it off! Congrats, and I hope you thoroughly enjoy it!!!

Oh I love you! My bathroom was in the same condition. We've ripped everything out and have been using the main bathroom for a few months (after some unforseen problems) but we're planning on completely remodeling in the next few weeks. I'm so excited and here you've given me renewed inspiration!!!
