believe me i mean lady as in like sweetie or puddin' nothing on your age.. i am not that far behind you.. i am about to be 27.  the more you practice with satin the easier it is.. somethings will always be tricky about it though, it all depends on the fabric and whether or not you are using metallic floss.. cause thats a pain when satining.. BUT totally do-able!

katie, that's good to know Wink  down here in the south we call everyone honey or miss so and so even if they are married!

when you do satin stitch do you just do it, or do you outline the shape first?  and if you outline the shape first, are your satin stitches supposed to go inside or outside the outline?

hehe i am from the south first off.. i guess i picked up the affectionate nicknames when i lived in new orleans.. everyone said boo, or baby.. or my heart, my love, etc..  Smiley

ok.. satin stitching i have done both.. there has been a few times when i did the outline in a darker color and filled it with a lighter in satin but MOST of the time i don't even mess with outlines... i just start doing it.. so i think its just a matter of what you want to do. Smiley
