Thanks everyone Smiley

I'm afraid though that my skin may be too sensitive for this yarn!  It's 100% alpaca.  I had it on for maybe an hour total last week (finished at knitting group, put it on, drove home, took photos and posted online, admired how cool I am in the mirror for a few minutes).  About 20 min after I took it off, the insides of my upper arms had all these red, itchy bumps!  Sad    They went away after about half an hour.  The yarn didn't bother me when I was knitting it, and I've NEVER had any sort of skin reaction to a fabric before.

Hopefully it was some strange fluke.  Otherwise I'm sure I can find some sort of brown 3/4 sleeve fitted tee for under it (or buy a long-sleeve and just shorten the sleeves).  I really like how it looks with dark brown underneath and dark brown dress pants for work.

Very cute.

There's something about gray that makes a sweater look so classic and lovely.

Try putting Aveeno lotion on - or something like Eucerin Calming Itch-Relief and wearing a 3/4 sleeve tee will help too, plus it shows off the lace really well.  My skin gets itch-y from some yarns too and Eucerin is awesome, or some lotion w/ oatmeal to soothe the skin will help.

I know you were jsut winging it, but is there any chance you took notes or something that you might be able to post? I would love to make something like this!
