Haha, I had my very first newborn session today. A girl I went to highschool with recently had a BEAUTIFUL baby girl, named Haillee Nicholle. Here are a couple of the shots:

This one is over done, I know. I just had to try it, though. Haillee was NOT a fan. I popped off 4 shots and then we stopped.

Daddy is in the National Guard.

There are a few more, but I'll stop there. CC definitely welcomed and appreciated!

Dontcha just love newborns! They are perfect subjects, well provided they are well fed and dry that is.  Wink
I liked where you were going with number 1, very artistic. Watch the "shooting up the nose" thing though. Oh and under babies bottom, push hands down towards legs to avoid the random finger popping up. Just little details..........overall good sitting. Maybe as she grows you can take more pics with Dad's jacket, to show her growth rate. Very cute later on to look back on.

those are beautiful pictures...I couldn't help noticing the camo on the shirt though. I never knew they made camo like that in the military.

Scottie, it's the new digital camo. They came out with it... maybe 2 years ago? I don't quite remember, as all the military men I know joined up within the last year. lol. Standard issue now, though, I believe.

Momma2FIVEgirls: I was talking to her mom about the jacket, and we decided we'd put it in with her 3, 6, 9, and 12 month sittings as well. I can't wait to get my lens on her again! She was a sweetie. And thanks for the tips!
