I made these shorts (and a few other things) out of my bedroom curtains. I was working at a clothing-resale shop and the time that sold a lot of vintage clothes, and people thought I'd bought my shorts there. Nope.

The belt loops are made out of the tabs at the tops of the curtains.

check out my awesome belt.

I'm making a weird face here, but you could figure that out yourself.

DARLING shorts! Did you make your own pattern? Follow one? They *sort of* look like the Built by Wendy shorts. I haven't worn shorts in over 8 years but these make me want to bust out a pair! They are so wonderfully short shorts but anti-ghetto booty sorority girl stylee.

On an unrelated note I have that same bike! I love my schwinn suburban =) Shorts would be better to ride in than my skirts that get stuck in the spokes =) thanks for sharing!

Schwinn Collegiate, actually, but close. L-O-V-E mine. I also have a Sear's Free Spirit, but it doesn't have the rear baskets. I use my Schwinn for grocery shopping, and my Free Spirit for bar hopping.

I kinda used a pattern (for the shape of the crotch, mostly) but it's heavily modified. At some point it was Vogue 8330, but I have to add in width in the butt and take in the waist a lot. So much for the ghetto-booty.

Boyfriend is a photographer, but I can almost never get him to take pictures of my clothing!

Thanks peeps.

Whos! At first I thought it said " Look at my cute butt"! But it didn't. But, it would have been OK if it did. Cute shorts, cute belt AND cute butt!!!
