I'm trying to make a chenille pillow, but I can't get the crap to fray. Any idea how to make it fray faster? I've gone one round in the washer and three in the dryer and nada. Not sure what fabric I got (it was in the remanent bin, but one may be taffeta) but I was told you could make chenille with anything that frayed easily around the egdes, which this does. Argh! I **really** don't want to start over.

If I can't be my own, I'd feel better dead.

Try this; whenyou're sitting down to watch tv or something, just rub the chenille on itself. That could help a bit.
