I've been  in an embroidery kind of mood lately, so I made this for her. 
The dark red in the letters is the same that outlines the flowers. It looks so much darker next to the black floss.

Did you crayon tint the skates and flowers?

OH THAT IS AWESOME! rollar derby chicks are so tuff! and so is this.  Amazing job!!!!  i love the flowers around the border and the skate of course!!

She's a derby girl too!! lol That is her pink skate I used a picture of to trace over.

I crayon tinted the flowers, skate and brass knuckles. It doesn't show, but I used metallic thread around the brass knuckles too. I don't remember using metallic thread before. It's not my friend!

wooo!! I love derby! I'm in a practice group myself. :p It's way harder than it looks, but alot funner than it looks, too. hahah

I know what you mean about metallic thread. It's such a bitch to stitch with. Mine always got tangled, anyways.
