Warning, Strong Language!! Do not look at the picture below if you will be offended by profanity!

I found a link to this post on a craft friends Wist. Somehow I missed it when it was posted.  Huh

I've been  in an embroidery kind of mood lately, so I made this for her.  Grin
The dark red in the letters is the same that outlines the flowers. It looks so much darker next to the black floss.

I just love the skate!!  Grin Here you can see the colors a little better.

letters-Sublime Stitching
skate-from a one of her pictures, traced
flower- http://www.needlecrafter.com/patterns.html
Brass Knuckles-found a picture online, printed and traced it

Tinted Linen Tutorial if you would like to give it a try. There's no strong language there.  Wink

that's awesome.  reminds me of the roller derby girls I used to see on t.v. when I was a kid.

Did you crayon tint the skates and flowers?

P.S.  What does NSFW mean?

Hahah... I saw the first one, but yours is really cute too! I like it!

And bethiebb, NSFW is 'Not Safe For Work'- typically profanity and/or nudity... Grownup type stuff. Heh.

NSFW=Not Safe For Work  Grin

Thanks Ladies!

She's a derby girl too!! lol That is her pink skate I used a picture of to trace over.

I crayon tinted the flowers, skate and brass knuckles. It doesn't show, but I used metallic thread around the brass knuckles too. I don't remember using metallic thread before. It's not my friend!  Roll Eyes

wooo!! I love derby! I'm in a practice group myself. :p It's way harder than it looks, but alot funner than it looks, too. hahah

I know what you mean about metallic thread. It's such a bitch to stitch with. Mine always got tangled, anyways.

Great work!!
