The Dremel ads? Well, I know "expandables" are not everyone's favorites Wink but I personally don't think those particular ones are so bad. Not only are Dremels awesome tools but that campaign brings us needed revenue. So we have to be willing to put up with a little bit of this kind of thing.

But believe me when I say I wish we had the perfect ads to serve up 100% of the time! Cheesy (And we're working on it! Smiley)

P.S. I also want to say thank you to everyone who has taken the time to express their feelings and concerns about the ads! It's very important to us to hear about this and we know it takes time to share your thoughts and we truly appreciate it.

yeah, I just mean the ones that expand.  if they didn't do that, they wouldn't be so annoying.

most of my ad problems are done forever.  a friend talked me into getting AdBlock so I see very few ads now.  I pretty much see only Martha Stewart ads, PayPal, eBay, etc.

I know that they are essential, but the people that design them need to think about how annoying expandable ones can be.  move your mouse within a millimeter of them and they cover up half the page?  why?

Yeah, I totally agree with you on how the people who design ads should re-think whether they really need to be expandables or not. When we work one on one with an advertiser we definitely convey to them that expandables are not the way to go. But sometimes we are a couple of steps removed from the actual company and it's impossible for us to get them to change the ad.

Oh the joys of relying on advertising! Cheesy

I totally understand how much trouble it is to get a problematic ad taken down.

Thank you for your efforts.

silly ads taking over the center of the page! they just go straight up and down on the whole page and there is no craftster goodness visible.

Every once in a while there are little hiccups and an ad will load in the wrong place.  A quick refresh should fix it.  Let us know if it's happening a lot or if it seems to be one particular ad!

I'm just going through, trying to get rid of some of these other ads that for some reason don't have the "block" button on them.  so, I have to do it by hand, which means I need to click the link.  so far, none of them have been bad.  then I clicked on this AT&T ad:

here is the address; DO NOT CLICK THIS LINK!!!!!!!!!!!
