So my best friend bought me these absolutly gorgeous purple satin high heel slip on shoes for christmas. (We have a list of things to do before we turn 30 and one of them was buy purple shoes). I love them, they are in a word, beautiful, but they wont stay on my feet!! I've tried adding things like insoles and heel grips, but they're not working. Has anyone got any ideas as to how I could add straps of some kind or similar? Any and all suggestions welcomed Smiley

I had a similar problem with a pair of shoes I bought.
I solved it as follows;

Get a longish piece of ribbon (I like a good-quality, wide, double-sided satin ribbon) in a similar or co-ordinating colour.

Put the shoe on your foot.

Wrap the ribbon underneath your arch (underneath the shoe, in the hollow the heel makes)

Cross both ends over the top of your feet, and then behind your ankle (like where your Achilles tendon is).

cross them over each other there and then bring them around to the front of your ankle again and tie them in a bow.

Repeat for the other shoe.

I hope this makes sense.
They end up looking a little like Ballet shoes, but with a heel, and a pretty bow.  Roll Eyes

I hope it works...and you like it!   Wink

There was an item on UK tv this morning and apparently you can buy something that is made of clear plastic that has a strap that goes right around the foot and another that grips the back of the heel.  It was ordered from the US but didn't give the supplier, but another idea was to use a clear plastic bra strap joined together and put over the foot and shoe.  The bra strap looked beter because it was matt and hardly visable.
