This is not embroidery, but I used the Sublime Stitching unicorn pattern to paint the largest unicorn on my daughter's shirt:

I used Tulip dimensional paints. I won't go into the process, except to say that this should not be your first Tulip paint project. I have experience with fabric paints, so it wasn't hard, but it could have easily been a disaster if I didn't know what I was doing.

Beautiful and so bright.  The texture of your unicorn reminds me of "puffy paint."  I don't know if anyone remembers that, I am 30 (yikes!!), and that was popular in the very late 80s.

I'm 38 so I remember it Cheesy

The colors are great. It's nice to see other ways of doing Jenny's patterns.

I do remember puff paint (I turn 30 in two months). This is called Slick paint--it has that raised texture, but it's not quite as puffy Smiley I think Tulip was the brand that made puff paint--I wonder if it's still out there somewhere...
